Meet Our Administrators
Brynn Carrell, Executive Director
Brynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education (with a teaching certification) from Columbia College in Chicago. She was fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit Reggio Emilia, Italy as part of a student-professor international study tour while attending college. She started her Compass career in 2010, and has served in a variety of capacities, including Executive Director, Administrative Director, Curriculum Coordinator, teacher, and her favorite title, Facilitator of Positive Outcomes.
Brittany Zakerski, Assistant Director
Brittany went to Central Michigan University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Child Development. She started at The Compass School in 2014 as a preschool teacher and became the Assistant Director when the Warrenville school opened in 2018. Brittany loves that Compass can offer children a balance of structure and unique learning experiences. Her favorite part of the job is building connections with families at the school.

Health and Safety at The Compass School
The Compass School of Warrenville views the health and safety of all children, staff, and parents who visit our school as one of our highest priorities. Knowing that everyone who walks through our doors will be safe in a clean environment is a top goal. Afterschool & Summer Camp
We offer enriching Before & After School programs for school age children throughout the school year . Please inquire if you have transportation needs to or from select Warrenville District 200 and Naperville District 203 schools, including: Bower, Johnson, Madison, Wiesbrook, Beebe, and Mill Street Elementary Schools.
During the summer months, our Summer Camp program is full of engaging activities and fun field trips that offer the right mix of learning and fun. Our active camp schedule is filled with arts and crafts, events, visits to the swimming pool, and great field trips related to the theme-of-the-week.
