Learning is a journey we make together. At the Compass School, we appreciate that the paths chosen differ for each child. We are dedicated to providing support, respectful encouragement and imaginative tools that help children reach their own exciting destinations of discovery. Our vision extends beyond providing a unique environment for learning. We present a rich, provocative curriculum, integrating a variety of traditional disciplines around real-world projects of general interest. Two directors manage the school's programs to ensure equal emphasis is given to our curriculum and to the administrative responsibilities that support our school community.  Teachers and students develop positive relationships that are interactive rather than simply directive. The result is a school where children are empowered by learning. Learning that takes place within a culture of respect for parents, teachers,
fellow students and themselves.
