Cincinnati CompassQuest 2015 Summer Camp Program

CompassQuest is designed for children who have completed Kindergarten through the age of 12. Each weekly theme will offer a unique exploration, with arts & crafts, food, games, and more. What could be more fun than weekly visits to the swimming pool or bowling alley with your friends as well as entertaining field trips related to the theme of the week? We’ll also enjoy guest speakers, shows, recreation, sports, and more. Looking for a fun and exciting way to spend your summer? The CompassQuest 2015 Summer Camp program is the place to be!

Girls vs. Boys! (June 8-12)

It’s time to show them who’s boss! We’ll challenge mind, body, and spirit during a week of friendly (?!?) gender wars. Game shows, art competitions, athletic challenges, water balloon fights & more! Tentative Field Trip: Lazer Kraze & Sweet Frogs

Treasures Hunters (June 15-19)

Our fearless explorers will study maps, look for clues, & follow the compass in search of hidden treasures. Enjoy a week of scavenger hunts, geocaching, team challenges and more. To the victor go the spoils! Tentative Field Trip: Scallywag Tag & Pine Hill Park

Sports Crazed (June 22-26)

Calling all sports-fanatics: get ready for a week of major league fun, including games, contests, trophies and more. We’re definitely going to hit this one out of the park!

The Wheel Deal (June 29-July 2—closed 7/3)

Around and around we go, on a week-long journey dedicated to the world of transportation. Is the wheel the greatest invention of all-time? Let’s roll and find out!

Thrill Ride (July 6-10—extra $5 activity fee)

Take a whirl with us as we explore the fantastic fun of amusement parks and carnivals! We’ll design our own Midway of Games, create a model theme park, enjoy a wild field trip and much more! Tentative Field Trip: Dave & Busters

Water World (July 13-17—extra $5 activity fee)

Dive into our aquatic wonderland for a week filled with swimming, water play and slippery games that will definitely have you soaked in smiles! Tentative Field Trip: CoCo Key Water Resort

Variety Show (July 20-24)

Our Master of Ceremonies will host a fast-paced week of music, comedy, magic and more! So stay tuned, it’s going to be a really really big show…Tentative Field Trip: Regal Cinemas & Nesbit Park

All We Need Is Love (July 27-31)

We love our friends & family, our school, our town, our heroes… and we’re going to show our appreciation by paying it forward and sharing the love! (And we also love ice cream.) Tentative Field Trip: Menchies & Home of the Brave Park

Time Machine (August 3-7)

Our brave travelers will fire up the flux capacitor to go back in time for historic adventures, and forge light-speed ahead to see our world in the future! Tentative Field Trip: Sky Zone & Juilfs Park

Tree Huggers (Aug. 10-13—closed 8/14 in-service)

Fresh Air! Mother Nature! We’ll follow the road less traveled in search of woodpeckers, wildflowers and waterfalls. And yes, we WILL hug a tree. Tentative Field Trip: Symmes Park & Sycamore Park

Camp Headquarters

The Science Lab & Think Tank classrooms will be transformed into Summer Camp Headquarters. Recreational options include Foosball, table games, and much more! Our playground offers unique climbing equipment, water play, a basketball hoop, open spaces for sports & games, and a garden area. Our camp is your ticket to summer fun!

Program Tuition Information

New enrollments to The Compass School are responsible for a $75 registration fee with application. A one week deposit and payment of activity fees is also required to reserve a space. Camp tuition is $215 a week. A $190 camp fee that covers field trips and activities for the entire summer is due upon registration. If only enrolling in select weeks, the camp fee is $18 per week (for Thrill Ride & Water World weeks add an additional $5 each to activity fees). Part time options are also available (please discuss your scheduling needs with an administrator for more information). Camp schedules run from 8:30AM to 4:30PM daily, with extended day enrichment available at no additional cost (school hours 6:30AM to 6:30PM daily). Campers will also be required to purchase a camp t-shirt ($14) for field trips. Activity fees are non-refundable.
